On 3 September, the GEA 2026 UK Autumn Roadshow successfully concluded in Wuhan, bringing together official representatives from five leading UK universities for an in-depth exchange with local education counsellors.
Representatives from Bangor University, the University of Leicester, Newcastle University, the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and Manchester Metropolitan University came together to share first-hand updates on 2027 entry applications, giving industry professionals valuable insights into the latest admissions policies, programmes and student support.

During the networking break, counsellors had the opportunity to connect directly with university representatives and discuss real student cases.
From application planning and subject matching to accommodation and visa-related questions, the conversations focused on practical challenges faced by education counsellors every day.
The open discussions created a lively exchange of ideas while helping participants gain a clearer understanding of each university's application pathways and student support.

Through a series of prize-winning questions, participants put their newly gained university knowledge to the test in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
The activity not only added an element of excitement to the event, but also helped reinforce key programme and admissions information shared throughout the day.
