GEA Laos International School Fair 2025 — Connecting Students with Global Opportunities

Date: 25–27 September 2025

Location: Various International & Public Schools in Vientiane, Laos


From 25 to 27 September 2025, GEA Laos successfully organized a three-day International School Fair, bringing together prestigious universities from Malaysia, the UK, and beyond to meet and engage with Lao students across multiple schools in Vientiane.

Participating universities included TARUMT, iCATS, Monash University, UWE Bristol, RMIT University, Nilai University, Northumbria University, Swinburne University, and many more — offering students valuable insights into their academic programs and global study pathways.


Day 1 — School Fairs at Progress, Sayfone, and Vientiane High School

The first day kicked off with school fairs at Progress School, Sayfone School, and Vientiane High School. Students eagerly visited university booths to learn about international programs, scholarships, and career prospects.

Day 2 — Exploring Global Education at ISL, PBIS & VIS

On the second day, the GEA team and participating universities continued their journey to three major international schools — International School of Laos (ISL), Panyathip British International School (PBIS), and Vientiane International School (VIS).Students from diverse academic backgrounds had the chance to interact directly with university representatives, discovering study opportunities in Malaysia, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.

Day 3 — GEA Education & Career Fair 2025 (Public Event)

The highlight of the three-day tour was the GEA Education & Career Fair 2025, a large-scale public event open to students, parents, and educators.

The event began with an inspiring opening speech by GEA SEA Director, introducing GEA’s mission and network across global. Each participating university then took the stage to present their programs and share real student stories about studying abroad.

To make the session more interactive, a quiz segment was held based on the universities’ presentations — where enthusiastic participants competed to answer questions and win scholarships and exclusive souvenirs.

After the presentations, attendees had the opportunity to visit university booths, speak directly with representatives, and explore both education and career options that align with their interests and goals.

A Meaningful 3-Day Journey

The 3-day, 2-night school fair concluded successfully, leaving students inspired and motivated to pursue their global education dreams.
